Ontology-manual information architecture
The four IA-spec documents below govern how the OPDA ontology model is documented. They specify the structure, conventions, and audience routing for each tier of the Ontology manual.
These specs are the authoritative source for the documentation structure — not for the ontology model itself (which is governed by the Modelling section ADRs).
IA specifications
| Tier | Audience | IA specification |
|---|---|---|
| Concept | Property-industry SMEs | Concept-tier IA spec |
| Logical | Data engineers, solution architects | Logical-tier IA spec |
| Physical — deployment | Triplestore operators, SPARQL consumers | Physical (deployment) IA spec |
| Physical — ontology | Ontology engineers, SHACL implementers | Physical (ontology) IA spec |
The cross-tier traceability requirement (every entity must carry a stable URI resolving across all four tiers) is specified in the information-architecture overview .
