Ontology-manual information architecture

The four IA-spec documents below govern how the OPDA ontology model is documented. They specify the structure, conventions, and audience routing for each tier of the Ontology manual.

These specs are the authoritative source for the documentation structure — not for the ontology model itself (which is governed by the Modelling section ADRs).

IA specifications

Tier Audience IA specification
Concept Property-industry SMEs Concept-tier IA spec
Logical Data engineers, solution architects Logical-tier IA spec
Physical — deployment Triplestore operators, SPARQL consumers Physical (deployment) IA spec
Physical — ontology Ontology engineers, SHACL implementers Physical (ontology) IA spec

The cross-tier traceability requirement (every entity must carry a stable URI resolving across all four tiers) is specified in the information-architecture overview .
